The British do less work on their houses than ever, mainly because they're afraid they'll mess up. B&Q started doing in store demos to show how to do simple DIY tasks, and we were asked to promote them on B&Q's web and social media sites.
We recreated 3 famous scary scenes from the cult horror films The Shining, Psycho and Poltergeist with a little DIY twist, showing that DIY doesn't have to scary.
The campaign was written about on websites such as Creative Review and Horror Movies Canada. The "The Shining" ad was also picked as Ad of the Day on The Drum.
